Lahore. A three-and-a-half-year old minor girl was stabbed to death after being gang-raped by two vagabonds in Qadafi Park, Muridke. The daughter of Hafizullah was playing in front of her house when a shoe factory workers Qaiser and Shaban, aged between 14 and 16 years, abducted the girl. They took the girl to their factory where she was gang-raped. To hide their sin, they strangled the girl. Later, they packed the body in a plastic bag and fled after throwing it near the victim's house. The bag was spotted by some passers-by. On receiving information, SSP Mubarik Ather rushed to the spot and ordered the arrest of the delinquents. The Muridke police conducted raids and succeeded in arresting both the vagabonds.
